About the event
Join us for a scenic 9km circular hike to Thor’s Cave, one of the Peak District’s most iconic limestone landmarks. With an elevation gain of 396m, this route offers a steady challenge while remaining accessible for most fitness levels.
We will be meeting at the gym for 7am ready to take on the 2 hour drive and get the hike started for 9:30am.
Route Overview:
Begins in the Manifold Valley and follows well-marked footpaths
Gradual ascent through woodland and open countryside
Visit the impressive Thor’s Cave, with panoramic views across the valley
